Welcome to Floatzilla, the largest paddle event on the Mississippi! Held annually in the beautiful Quad Cities region, Floatzilla brings together paddling enthusiasts from all over the country for a day of fun and adventure on the Mississippi River.
With over a thousand participants and the river closed down to commercial watercraft, Floatzilla offers a unique opportunity to explore the area's natural beauty. Whether you're an experienced paddler or just starting, there's something for everyone at Floatzilla. And after a day on the water, the fun doesn't stop! Join us for our post-paddle event, featuring live music and food vendors, where you can relax and connect with other paddling enthusiasts.

Floatzilla and the City of Davenport are ​offering camping on Credit Island or at ​Lindsay Park. Tent camping only. No open ​fires allowed. Cost is $12 per tent.

No Kayak? No Problem! River Action Has partnered up with a number of local and regional outfitters who can assist you with securing a kayak or canoe for the event.

Our Launch sites are designed to accommodate paddlers of all skill levels. From a leisurely half-mile paddle launching from credit island - to the eleven-mile launch from empire park for those looking for adventure!

A Free entry kayak fishing tournament will take place at Credit Island on Friday, Aug. 16 6-8 p.m. Check-in for the tournament takes place from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. All ages are welcome!

Outdoor Expo and Kayak/Canoe Swap during packet pickup on August 16th at Credit Island Lodge. Outdoor recreation, adventure gear, environmental conservation and more!
Live music will make its return this year! Taking place at Lake Potter Saturday Aug. 17, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. look forward to great food, great music, and great people at our post paddle celebration!
